Easiest Necklace Ever!

I saw this necklace from Banana Republic the other day:
Beautiful!
It got me thinking: "lace + chain = cute!!"

So I grabbed a chain, and some lace (and some spray paint!)....

Painted a 9" strip of lace....

And hand-sewed it onto the loops of an 18" chain.

I. Love. It. :o)

I thought about adding a bow, or a few vintage buttons:

But I think I like it plain the best!
I love it with my husband's white tee.

Boyfriend jeans with pearl earrings, pumps, and a lace necklace?
Yes.
Happiness.

And plus-surprise!!
Look what I got in the mail:

A couple of days ago I found a cute new blog; A Lemon Squeezy Home.
I linked to it, and Christy was so thankful, that she let me pick an adorable pendant from her shop! How amazing is that?!
I felt so guilty for accepting the gift, but not guilty enough to stop me from enjoying it :o)
I love it!

I added it to this chain, with a pearl and dragonfly.

If you have a minute, go check out her blog, and shop! It's too adorable, and she has some great ideas.

Well, take care, dear friends!
and
Have a happy Valentine's Day everyone!!

I adore the lace necklace you made. It adds a nice touch of femininity to a plain white tee and very stylish, too. I can't wait to try it. I'll have to make one for each of my girls as well. Thanks again for sharing your never ending creativity. You are amazing.

You are too cute! Thanks for the great idea! I'm thinking of trying the lace necklace but layering a couple of pieces of the lace on top of each other for a little added volume.

Honestly, it all looks horrible. I don't understand how you would be able to pair this outfit and think it works.

just be careful with spray paints, they are usually very toxic and not meant to come in prolonged contact with the skin, even after they dry. Next time, try getting gold fabric paint, they even have fabric spray paints.
