Guest Post for Refashionista Event!

Good mornin'!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm over at I am Momma Hear me Roar today! If you don't know Cheri and her blog, I'm thrilled to introduce you to it. She's got really fresh ideas, cute photos, and lots of boy projects! I just absolutely love her. She's hosting a "Refashionista" event this week (fun!), and I'm doing a little tutorial for this scarf....vest....wrap....thing. It's a "cozy button wrap"! :o)

It's been great to be able to do a couple of tutorials lately! I've got to start working on Christmas gifts now-yay! I'll try to pop in here and visit when I can though.

I hope you enjoy the tutorial. :o)
God bless!

I LOVE your blog Disney-it's one of my faves! I can't figure out a few things for this scarf though ( I know total 'tard moment for me). I tried sewing the two together and all I got was a serisously ticked off sewing machine-the scarf streaches so easily it all got chewwed up in the machine! And second, are you making a slit through the whole scarf and using the felt to keep it from unraveling? You're the best-thanks!

Disney said...

dubmomma: Yes, slit all the way through the scarf and felt. And as for the machine being messed up, yes, that's hard sometimes! I would first make sure that your tension is set for the fabric, and then you may need to just lift the presser foot periodically and let the fabric even out so that it doesn't bunch up and stretch too much. Knits are tricky to work with sometimes! :O)
