Nail polish remover can interact with some dyes and fabrics (it'll actually melt acetate), so perform a spot test before you use it. If you use remover on your fabric, make sure to launder it directly afterward. And if remover isn't an option, you can always try hair spray. Dry cleaning solvent can also usually remove polish, so if you can't get it out at home, don't be afraid to run it down to your cleaners.Emilynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379969093490103099.post-78397071569940972482012-06-30T21:14:47.634-07:002012-06-30T21:14:47.634-07:00Bug spray helps to get nail polish outBug spray helps to get nail polish outAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379969093490103099.post-59533619208401700602012-06-30T12:11:55.125-07:002012-06-30T12:11:55.125-07:00i saw this on interest, don't know if you'...i saw this on interest, don't know if you've seen it yet!<br />http://www.bellasugar.com/How-Get-Nail-Polish-Off-Clothes-22006354Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03673336694705448450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379969093490103099.post-12887991478403491322012-06-29T20:54:59.011-07:002012-06-29T20:54:59.011-07:00I vote for dye it w/ rit!I vote for dye it w/ rit!Heather at Happy Chippy Junkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00186721352192499121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379969093490103099.post-54855605936208986802012-06-28T16:07:44.798-07:002012-06-28T16:07:44.798-07:00I got polish out of a white shirt once with Lestoi...I got polish out of a white shirt once with Lestoil. Keep a towel underneath while you're dabbing to absorb the color and the nail polish remover. This may take awhile and you may have to let it dry and come back to it later but it should get it out and not damage your skirt. Just in case, you may want to test it in an inconspicuous spot before you start. And don't wash the skirt until the stain is completely out or the stain will set and then you're doomed! D: This got a nail polish stain out of my jeans once and it worked just fine.
