Little Autumn Prairie Smock

Here is a dress I made for the pumpkin earlier this summer. Now that it is officially autumn, I feel OK about her wearing it, even if it's still getting up to 90 degrees some days(torture!!).

I wish I could show you how it looked when I first cut it out. I didn't use a pattern (as usual), and I literally cut it all out in two pieces and sewed them together. It looked like a paper doll dress! But I adjusted the neckline a little, added some binding, and it turned out quite cute, if I do say so myself!

I love how the back is different from the front!

No, that is not my dead grass that I have been too lazy busy to water for weeks....what kind of person do you think I am??
