"TuTu Torial"

I just found this tutu tutorial on my sister-in-law's blog, and I am so excited about it!! I had no idea that these were so easy to make! There isn't even any sewing involved (except to sew the two ends of your elastic together). Wouldn't this be fun for a fairy or ballerina costume this halloween?
I'm going to go look for some tulle......

  1. Awww! Thank you! I'm going to make Paige a pink one. Hey! I accidentally bought some brown tulle instead of black, it isn't enough for the whole tutu, but you can have it if you want.

  2. You are kidding me right? I don't usually leave comments, but I found this kinda funny. I just posted this same tutorial on my sewing blog yesterday as well. I guess great minds think a like. I do like the colors your sister chose though. Very fun. Thanks for sharing all the fun ideas, I love your blog. seamseweasy.blogspot.com

  4. First I just have to say that I LOVE your blog!! I found it through my friend Lindsay at That's So Cuegly and there are so many things I want to make now! Anyway, I just wanted to share about the tutu. I've been making these for a year or so and they are so fun! I just finished one for my youngest to wear with her witch costume for Halloween (orange, black and purple) You can get the tulle pretty cheap at tullesource.com and they have a ton of colors! The best thing about that is I don't have to haul all my kids to the craft store because it comes right to my door! :)
