Just to Make You Feel Better about yourself....

I just thought I would share with you the state of affairs in my craft room right now. I'm sure you could always use a good laugh!
My mom gave me loads of her old crafting supplies, and I don't really have the space for them yet, so that's part of the mess, but the moral of the story today is this: do not let your toddler run around in your crafting space while you aren't watching. Now off to organize.... :o(

  1. Oh my gosh! This scene looks so familiar as I have an 18 month old now who does the same exact thing. What is also so funny about this is I just myself posted this morning photos of the mess in my own house. You have to come by my blog and see the carnage and read my post about it. Leave me a message, as I would love to hear from you. Good luck in getting all that stuff organized.

  2. Looks so familiar! My son when he was a little tike used to make himself useful in my crafts also. What fun memories, thanks for reminding me. He is now 22 years old, and still the joy of my life!

  3. Haha, that's really funny because I just walked into my craft room to find my twin toddlers making a big mess. At least that's what I'm blaming my mess on today, really it was already a disaster.

  4. Thank you, I feel much better ;) kidding! At least you have a craft room. My craft mess is strung all over the house...in the dining room, the garage, the spare bedroom.

    Good luck!! Heeheehee

  5. Ummm... I don't have a little one and my craft room and living room look like that. It's just all my own mess. How bad is that?? LOL

I'm in some serious need to organize.

  6. Oh no, no, no - you've got it all wrong! My craft area looks JUST like that. What do I see? The 20 minutes of crafting time I eked out yesterday to make dd's Christmas present while ds tore my fabric stash apart. SO WORTH IT!!

  7. Oh hun. I love you. A lot. lol. My craft space has looked like this A LOT. Right now it is perfect, which is french for "I haven't done any crafting for a week or so now." ;) But I have to totally admit that I have done plenty of zoomy shots in my craftroom!

  9. My craft room often looks like this as i usually craft and run, leaving the place in a smash of chaos.
But yay for new (to you) crafting supplies to inspire you!

  10. Oh wow - looks just like mine except that mine seems to creep out of its little room and take over every room in the house. I can't help it!

  14. That scene looks familiar but your sewing/craft room is so large!
I have a tiny space so I had my husband put up peg board on an entire wall and I bought hooks and I hang things on the wall, buttons, zippers, etc. You can even put things in ziplock bags and punch a hole and hang from the hooks as well. Just an idea for organization, if you were interested!
