*Giveaway Closed* Tutorial+ Giveaway!!- Burberry Inspired Ruffle Coasters

Congratulations to winner Savannah from Fancy Vintage!!

OK. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I love these. LOVE these!! Even as I write this, I'm trying to decide if I really want to give them away or not.....
But, as much as I love them, I love you guys even more, so here ya go!

Tutorial first....
1) Cut out two 4" squares, and three 12"x1" strips of felt in each color that you want.
2) Use your longest strait stitch to sew down each strip lining up the edge of the strip with your presser foot.
3) Pull the top thread to ruffle your strips, almost as much as they will ruffle.
4) Sandwich them between the two squares, and sew on top, being sure that the stitching on the ruffled strips don't peek out the side! Just match up the end of each strip with the start of the next one as you are sewing, it doesn't really show.
This is what it should look like when that part is done. Pretty cute all by itself I think!
5) Choose a pattern, and mark it on the coaster with a sewing pen (or not, I didn't). I chose a classic(Burberry inspired) plaid. Use your machine's embroidery stitch to sew on your pattern.

6) Stare at them for a long time, because they're gorgeous.

Alrighty, now for the exciting part!
