Up To No Good (Crafts)
Boy.
I had a great couple of days at my brother and sister-in-law's house this week, but I think I left my crafty pants there! I just haven't been feeling up to making things lately. Weird, right?? Oh well! I did manage to whip out this dress this morning for my daughter though. It started as this shirt that I got at the thrift store for $1. I loved the fabric, but it was an XS. Sad.

After!
And a hair pin to match!
Silly girl :o)
I'm working on some birdie ornaments for my tree, but they aren't looking so hot at the moment, so we'll see how they turn out! :o)
Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteIt's cute! I feel ya on the not up to being too crafty at the moment :)
ReplyDeleteThere must be something in the air...I have been feeling that way as well. I can't wait to see your birdie ornaments I'm sure they'll turn out great! and the dress for your daughter is sweetness...with a matching hair pin...lucky girl! x
ReplyDeleteDisney, that is adorable! Wow, you do fabulously even when you're not feeling your usual crafty self. I like what you created far more than I like the original dress. You bumped it up a few notches! Totally cute! Hang in there hun, the creative feeling will return. When I feel that way it usually helps me to visit other people and see what they are up to. Seeing things other people are doing, like what you create, inspires me. Then I feel my craftiness return. :) ~Rita~

ReplyDeleteHi Disney, I found you via Ohdeedoh and your ADORABLE light project. We're moving soon and I'm already thinking about how I could use something like that in my daughter's new room. But as far as this post goes, I just have to echo everyone else and say that this dress is fantastic! If this is what you can do on days when you're not feeling so crafty, I am seriously impressed! I'm so glad I found your blog and I'll be checking back regularly to see what other great stuff you do!
ReplyDeleteYou are so crafty!! This is adorable! What a great way to use a beautiful shirt that was too small!
