Do I Look Different to You?
Ta-da! A little blog makeover!
I have been wanting to give my blog a little makeover for months now.
So, imagine my surprise, when I get an email from Emily, over at The Rubber Punkin, (who is a graphic artist) saying that she wants to design a button and banner for me to say "thank you" for featuring her on my sidebar. How amazing is she?! Not only was she so generous with her offer, but she completely nailed my style, without any input from me at all. I am so impressed! And grateful! Thank you so much, Emily!! Now I have to keep visiting my own blog, just to see my new pretties :o)
On a totally different note:
You may have noticed that I took all of the jewelry out of my shop. I have decided not to sell any more for a while, but don't worry! I'll still be making jewelry, and you can still get your hands on it! It will just be free :o) (more on that in a while! It's going to be really fun!)
And in the mean time, I would love, love, love it if you would please direct any purchases to my incredibly talented sister's gorgeous jewelry shop! Yes, her prices are still scandalously low, and I happen to know that she just got a huge load of new supplies, so watch for some great things to come!
Anyway! I've got another little tutorial coming up tomorrow, so until then, take care everyone! I kind of miss you all. Is that weird?? I wish I could be hanging out with you in real life right now. I've been sick the last couple of days, and I miss conversing with humans! :o)
Hi! I just wanted to say I LOVE your blog!! I check it daily. :)ReplyDelete
Beautiful Blog! Your blog is definitely beautiful in many ways (beautiful posts, beautiful photos, beautiful inspiration, & beautiful new blog design). I just started reading your blog in Jan.; I have to say I was totally ignorant to the whole blog scene (I had no idea there were such things as these amazing crafting blogs!). Anyhow, you have totally inspired me to get creating again. I wish you could see all the things I have created this last month (I'll have to get you some photos sometime when I get around to it (I've become a lazy photographer, but a perky crafter - thanks to you!). Thanks again for your wonderful ideas (oh, and I hope you feel better soon =). I couldn't post (which this is my first post, too (I'm so excited)) without saying how much I appreciate your loving Christian spirit. God's definitely blessed you with the gift of creativity!ReplyDelete

She did do an awesome job capturing your style in the look :) Beautiful. Hope you feel better quick!ReplyDelete
For me, it's the more sales I get, the more money I want to invest in my business and frequently that investing is more than my profits! It's a vicious cycle, not sure if that's what you meant. Your new blog looks is so cute, very simple and pretty.ReplyDelete
Everything looks gorgeous! I hope you feel better soon!ReplyDelete
I think your new look is so feminine and sweet looking - like a table set for tea with pretty, dainty tea cups and little doilies underneath the plates that the cakes sit on!ReplyDelete
I just started blogging. Don't have a clue what I'm doing, but I'm smiling a lot more these days....and the left part of brain is on overdrive!
So nice of that gal to help you with your new look!
Your button and banner truly does match your style.ReplyDelete
