Outtakes!

So many of you have commented on my sweet daughter, and how natural she seems in front of the camera! How lucky I am to have such a lovely "model"!
How do I do it, you ask? Easy! Paige is a perfect child!
.........

She is never devious.

She never cries....

Or pouts.....

Or wets her pants during a photo shoot!

Not like those "other" children. You know, the ones who are always putting their hands in weird places...

And can't seem to keep their tongues in their mouths!

She is always dressed to the nines....

And perfectly poised!

She never "goofs around" when mommy is trying to get good photos.

And she has no problems sharing the limelight!

But I love her anyway. :o)

Just thought you might enjoy a few "outtakes"! I hope my life seems a little less perfect to you. :o)
I wouldn't have it any other way!

  15. He he..I seriously love Paige's modelling, even with all her deviations, as that is what makes her all the more sweet and cute! I believe her innocent modelling is what brings more color and substance to your creations!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I think I love these even more than the normal ones! You are so fun that you caught all these moments. Especially the pee one. Even that one looks totally planned. Most mom's would be running to get the kid to the potty but you captured the moment first! The one of her on the chair is so darling!

    ReplyDelete
  17. What funny pictures! I love them!

    ReplyDelete
  18. hahaah. LOVED this post Disney!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thanks for sharing these! I was just thinking the other day (yeah right you're saing) that I should post some of the crazy pictures that don't make it on my blog. Love the peeing the pants one especially!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes, that peeing picture was a once-in-a-lifetime! I would like to take credit for it, but the truth is-I didn't know she was peeing at the time! I didn't find out until AFTER I'd taken the photos! haha!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Those are great. So funny and cute.

    ReplyDelete
  26. love it! you must be an amazing photographer too! :) she's beautiful!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  29. Fabulous--I'm ending my day with a huge smile on my face!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Haha! These are hilarious! I can't get over that picture where she's peeing her pants. Such a funny kid! :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Those pictures are adorable!!!!! Sooo cute!!!

Sometimes the "mess up" pictures become our favorites! It's always fun to look back in a few years and see the goofy or candid shots to see what people were really like.

These are so great!! Your daughter is adorable!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Disney,
First let me say how beautiful your daughter is! And seems so full of life, you are blessed to have such a wonderful little one! I also wanted to say thank you. You might be thinking "Why Kristi, what for?" My own wonderful mother, for Valentine's day, got me one of your pieces I had seen on here a while back...a necklace with white flowers and a pendant with two birds. I absolutely adore it and can't wait to wear it! You're wonderful, thank you for sharing your gift of creativity!

    ReplyDelete
  33. HAHAHA. That made me laugh out loud!!! She is WAY too cute - good moods or not :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. There's no way around it: she is adorable! :)
    And those pictures are too!
I love the "mischievous" one! :D

    ReplyDelete
  35. Fantastic, I can totally relate. It usually takes me about thirty photos of my little miss before I strike it lucky and get a good one.

    ReplyDelete
  36. That made me smile. Thanks for sharing:)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh Disney, I had a good laugh. Mine is 2.5 yo and Paige seems to do the things my daughter does... Thank you for sharing.

    ReplyDelete
  38. This post makes me wish I could redo my children's lives just so I could take a hundred more pictres (a day!).
I'm sure she'll have something to say about the wetting her pants one though!
    Great shots!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. thank you for sharing these! It put a smile on my face for the rest of the day! your daughter is adorable! And by the way, your life now seems even more perfect to me ;-))

    ReplyDelete
  40. HAHAHA! Look just like my house! Thanks for sharing!

    ReplyDelete
  41. This is way too adorable! Hhaha.

    ReplyDelete
  42. She's a real child! I was worried for a moment:)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Reminds me of the picture a teacher took of her kids. A precious one of a 3 year old "kissing the baby", only when you look closer, the smiling, kissing 3 year old is PINCHING the baby while he kissed her. It was my Lamaze teacher and she was warning us about our dear off-spring and their "innocent" ways. lol

    ReplyDelete
  44. goog bless her, she doesnt seems like the other kids, but who doeas yah?? what its matter that she is yours and you love her like all mom does..

    ReplyDelete
  45. sooo stinkin cute! and I thought I had it bad with my 5 year old boy! you make it seen too easy...you must have a lot of patience!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Awww so sweet!! I love this post haha so great to see it!

And that photo 'Or wets her pants during a photo shoot!'...good shot!

    ReplyDelete
  47. lovely & sweet.
    And oh sooooo recognizable :-)

    ReplyDelete
  48. THAT WAS SO FUN... it was like;back of camera shot :))))

so sweet.. ı hope she never get evil eye... sorry .. this is our proverb.. I dont know if I said true..:)))

    ReplyDelete
  49. I've been coming here for a while now, but I just had to comment on this one!!

ADORABLE!!! I prefer the goofy photos to any "perfectly" poised ones any day!!

    Gorgeous model!! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  50. Oh my goodness she is sooooo cute! That was fun, thanks for sharing! Theresa

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hahahaha! Love the outtakes! It's always comforting to know that you're not the only one who has 5 dud photos to every good one!
You made me laugh out loud this morning :D

    ReplyDelete
  52. Heeheehheeeeheee The goofing around pics are my favourite! What giveaway did you win? The tent one??

    ReplyDelete
  53. This is just the cutest little post!! I really think it's adorable. I have a 3 1/2 year old girl, so I can relate on sooooo many leavels. :) Thank you for sharing!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'll chime in with my 2 cents. That peeing picture is they funniest, grossest, most hilarious thing I have seen/laughed at for weeks. That is surely one of those pics you will keep to black mail her with or embarrass her with in later life! Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Love this! What a great post. Laughed out loud at the peeing the pants photo! Thanks for sharing.

    ReplyDelete
  56. These pictures are PRICELESS! I thought the pouty faces were my favorites - until I saw the dribble-dribble-dribble in the peeing picture. That is soooo blackmail material! (Save it for the slideshow you'll play at her wedding one day...)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Too cute! I love the second-to-last one - her expression is so perfectly cheesy!

    ReplyDelete
  58. That first photo is GORGEOUS. And I couldn't help myself. I laughed at poor Paige's puddle.

I don't think people who don't photograph small children realize how many pictures you have to take to get those really fantastic shots.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Disney!!
I just found your blog last week and it has become one of my favorites to visit! Thanks for keepin' it real for us other "perfectly" real mommas out here! I Love this post...
    Joyfully His!

    ReplyDelete
  60. hahaha I'm sorry, but she's still so adorable. :)

    ReplyDelete
  61. This is too funny. That is awesome you have captured these moments in camera so you can show her when she grows up. She is so cute!

    ReplyDelete
  62. These were so cute! Just wait until she is in middle school and then you can show her this post. Maybe that is a bad idea. :)

    ReplyDelete
  63. I think that what makes her perfect is the fact that regardless of the situation she seems ridiculously HAPPY!!Love her up as much as you can. They only stay little for such a short time.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Love your perfect baby, sorry about laughing about the potty accident but even my 5 year old has the tendency to do that...like the other day while playing in the snow. She said she was having to much fun to take the time to go potty!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Thanks for sharing these. It was a great ride viewing all these shots and your funny comments!

    You're a great mom!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Thanks so much for sharing! These are the moments that truly make life special! And you are soo right, we wouldn't have it any other way!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Too funny! After reading your last post, I wondered how you get your daughter to dress up and smile at just the right time. I think it must be you though. You have to a lot of patience, I would give up after 10 minutes of trying to get my little girl to even put on the outfits. You do a great job!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Ohmygoodness, these are adorable! I am giggling because it takes me about 50000398203 photos of my kiddos to get one "perfect" shot. Love Paige's personality in these photos though.

    These photos are PERFECT.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Love this post!!! I take like a million pictures at one time, in hopes that I snap just one of my kiddos looking pleasant and both looking at the camera. As a result I have thousands of pictures of my kids looking just like my kids (tongues out, silly faces, runny noses, and grumpy stares) ...which I love!

    ReplyDelete
  70. She is seriously adorable! Even with her tongue out. Do you take all these photos because you are a beautiful photographer!

    ReplyDelete
  71. so cute disney! I love the one of her peeing her "skirt". that sounds weird, but its a really cute shot!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Thank you for sharing! These photos totally made my day, and your commentary is hysterical! Your little girl reminds me so much of mine at that age. She's almost six now, and she still acts like every one of those shots (well, except for the peeing, of course at her age she uses the ladies room).
And can I just say, what luck! I can't believe that you timed that shot so perfectly- on "accident"! But those always end up being the best shots, don't they?

    ReplyDelete
  73. very cute! love the pouting faces :)thanks for sharing the imperfect side

    ReplyDelete
  74. Thank you so much for the laughs!! I just LOVED all those pictures!! That was the best!! I think those pictures say a lot more about children than the ones where they appear "perfectly posed" - and I have a ton of those too of Serenity - but MORE of her acting out! But I think the peeing photo is just TOO FUNNY and my fav! I cracked up laughing my butt off at that one!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Thank you for sharing your pictures of your adorable daughter.

    ReplyDelete
  76. That is too cute! My sister in law takes pictures and tells me this kind of stuff all the time. I get so discouraged with 3 (someday 4 under 4) and trying to get them to all look at the camera or behave or stop flicking boogers or whatever... LOL It's nice to know others have a hard time capturing a "good" picture too...but I do look back at the "real" ones and laugh at how they are so candid too. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  77. This is so super cute, I really enjoyed this post! It made me smile on a pretty grumpy day :) Thanks again~

    ReplyDelete
  78. This is great - sometimes these are the best pictures of all. Nice to know I'm not the only one struggling to get just right kid pictures for my blog:)

    ReplyDelete
  79. Awe! She is just like everyone's kid...perfect in every way! Love the one of her peeing! I laughed so hard. You caught that perfectly...is that an oxymoron?! LOL Regardless...she is a perfect model, just like almost everyone else said!

    ReplyDelete
  80. she's so cute! i like the one with the book and the one where she's posing like a strong girl!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Oh this post makes me so happy because she is just plain ADORABLE! The one with the puddle o' wet stuff? Genius!

    ReplyDelete
  82. OH MY GOSH...the one her wetting her pants is priceless!!! {and I am in LOVE with the dress right below with the yellow stripes!} Thanks for sharing, this mademe laugh out loud! :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. have you made her a scrapbook yet? it would be so fun to look back when she gets older!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Ok that just made me laugh so hard. No those are just perfect pics with little girls at the best. I have to admit those goofy pics of my 3 girls are always the ones I love b/c they catch their true moods and behaviors. Thanks for sharing

    ReplyDelete
  85. Awesome...I thought I was the only one with PERFECT children....glad to see Paige is just like MY kids...lol

  88. ADORABLE! (As always) The cutest outtakes I've ever seen, and being that most of mine ARE outtakes..I see a LOT :)

P.S. What kind of camera do you have?

    ReplyDelete
  89. My favorite outtake is the fourth from the bottom - the pink ruffled tank with the pink background. I don't know why but it is. Thank you for sharing these fun pictures - she is precious!

    ReplyDelete
  90. She is super adorable. No poised portrait can hold a candle to a kid acting like a "real" kid and capturing those moments and you have some wonderful keepsakes which you will treasure (and embarrass her with) when she grows up.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Oh my heck! That is way too funny- and super cute. I love them!

    ReplyDelete
  92. I love your blog and your ideas....just fantastic. This is such a great post. Cute stuff!

    ReplyDelete
  97. I feel your pain, sister! lol. I have 3 baby/toddler/preschooler, and it is NOT easy getting those good pictures. But when you get them, they are so priceless! Your daughter looks so adorable, even in all your bloopers. :)

    Blessings!

    ReplyDelete
  115. These pics are hilarious, mostly because they look just like all of mine! I swear I take a million of my 2 year old and she is always grumpy in them. It doesn't help I guess that she is yelling, "no way mommy!" Love your blog! So much inspiration!
