Happy Weekend!

Well.
I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that my daughter is not only more beautiful than I, but a more popular blogger! :o) Just kidding. But seriously, thank you so much for such a warm welcome for her. You guys are so kind! And she loved reading all the comments! She wanted to know the name of each commenter, it was adorable.

After her first post, she's been obsessed with crafting and putting it "on the blog". Here she is later that day making me a "necklace" out of a painted brussels sprout.
....I'm sure I'll have tons to wear it with.

Well tomorrow (today, technically?) is her birthday party. Whew. I'll be sure to post photos of it all after the fact, but in the mean time, here's a sneak peak of the color scheme!

Inspired by these markers:

I lucked out and found these plates and napkins at Walmart/Safeway.

And these are little coloring books I made for the favor bags. Have you seen that Crayola website that changes your kids photos into coloring book characters? It's really pretty fun!
It's a testimony to how often I have my camera on me that I had photos of almost all the kids I invited.

I'm really looking forward to the party. This is the first time I've actually felt prepared for an event before I hosted it! :O) It's a strange feeling.

I hope your weekend is as fun as Paige's will be!

Love,
Disney

  8. You're beautiful, but you're right!! Paige will someday pass you up in the beautiful department, she is so gorgeous, but stand proud and know that you were the one who gave her her good looks. And obviously her creativity too!

Is your husband Asian...I think mixed kids are the cutest. Seeing how you're so gorgeous with a gorgeous daughter, I'm assuming your husband isn't too shabby himself.

Having a husband stationed in South Korea, I have concluded that Asians have the cutest kids, well except mine of course

    Have fun at the party

  9. I never comment on your stuff b/c I think that since you have a billion followers and a billion followers on pinterest, you knew you were amazing. That's why I commented on Paige's craft. My daughter is two and I get stopped on the street ALL THE TIME by people telling me how gorgeous she is. I would love for someone, anyone to tell me I'm pretty, but they never do. You're adorable and amazingly talented and God gave you great girl. Hope the party was wonderful.

  10. We just threw a party for Vinnie today, circus themed. It was the most organised in depth party we have EVER thrown, we had a clown that came and painted faces and did pass the parcel and my dad even organised this little kid he knew to play ukelele while we partied!

It was AMAZING and SUCH a fun day and well worth the months of effort and DIY and 33 teeny tiny bean bags for the games that I made aha.

I hope your party turned out just as awesome!
