Fun Circus, Fun Tablecloths

This week has been so fun.

We totally went to the circus tonight. The circus!! I have always wanted to go to a circus. Some good friends asked if we wanted their extra tickets and we were all: "Um...yes.".
I tried so hard to keep my cool, but after a few minutes I turned 5 and I was having the time of my life. "YAY!! Clap with the clown! Whee!!". ...I may have let my pathetic show a little.

Paige got to ride the pony and the elephant! Awesome. It was so hard to see all 36 lbs of her so far up on that gigantic animal, but I know she had the best time ever. Her face absolutely glowed.

I was so amazed at the incredible things people can learn to do. The bmx riders and the motor-thingy riders terrified me. I was literally sweating, I was so sure someone would die. I prayed for them, just in case. (You're welcome, guys.)

Anyway, wonderful day. I'm so grateful. I can't believe the charmed life I (we) live. It's too wonderful to be true sometimes. I really am so grateful.

OK! So! I have a tutorial coming up tomorrow, if I can get the photos done in time. Something involving these tablecloths:
Fun? Yes. We will see you then, good friends!

Love,
Disney

P.S. Happy Fourth of July, USA friends! I'm sorry I didn't pop in to say that yesterday. I hope you had a great time.  (God blesses America!)

Don't feel bad about the circus thing. I was 34 when I finally got to DisneyWorld and I literally cried when I saw the parade down Main Street. And, it was on my honeymoon! Oh, and I ran up and hugged Mickey just like any little kid.

I am glad you had a great time.

We used to live a couple of hours from Disney, and went there often. I cried everytime during the parade. It's just so magical!

Glad to know I'm not alone!

  5. I think I am having a stressful day because this made me tear up. It really is the "small" things in life that matter like going to the circus with those we love. Thanks for putting life back into perspective.

  6. There's a dark side to the circus: http://www.peta.org/issues/animals-in-entertainment/circuses.aspx Visiting a circus is like supporting animal abuse.

  9. Oh, I love the circus! I get that feeling too when I watch them way up above the crowd, wondering if they'll fall, praying they don't. Glad you had a fun time. The circus is so inspiring for me and may paper play artwork. Does it inspire your crafts?
