Bang, Bang!
So, we got bangs. :o)
I've been wanting some for a couple of years, but it took some convincing for the husband. ;o) He's not a bangs person. So Paige and I loaded our photos onto the InStyle celebrity hair thing and found a style of bangs that we liked and headed off to the salon! It was Paige's first time in a salon and I think she was a little nervous at first. But she behaved marvelously and was nothing but diva afterwards.
She would walk up to people and just touch her bangs and say "Hi...." (where do they learn this stuff?)
I haven't gotten any good shots of my own hair yet (I may never get a "good" shot, haha...we'll see) but I snapped a couple of super lame mirror shots for you guys. :o)
It is seriously painful to share those photos. Ouch.
Anyway, I feel like they look significantly better in person! (At least I hope so?) I really like them.
Yay for new hair!!
See you soon! Like, tomorrow, hopefully.
Love,
Disney
Oh my! How beautiful you look both of you!! And Paige looks so much older ;)
ReplyDeleteJosée
both cuts are cute!
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, you are both pulling them off like pros. Bangs pros.
ReplyDeleteThey look suuuuuuper cute!! On both of you!! I recently opted to try to keep growing out my bangs, but this is making me want to run to the salon for a trim! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou both look super cool with bangs :-).
ReplyDeleteWey Hey! looks fab, it's tempting me to get some, but I alwasy worry they will annoy me.
ReplyDeleteYou both look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAww! It's so sweet that you went together to get your hair done! My 1 year old daughter and I both went to get out hair cut today (her, for the first time & me for a much needed haircut!) And I just blogged about it, too. =)
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how beautiful a new hairstyle can make you feel!
They look sooooo cute on BOTH of you!!! ;) I did that at the beginning of this year but have already let them grow back out haha! ;D

You guys are both so cute! I love how your bangs match :)

You guys do suit bangs! I've been thinking about cutting mine back in, but then I remember it's so hot here and it'll just make my forehead greasy + ugly and I'll have to wash them everyday :/ I'm not normally so pessimistic because my entire life I've been sporting a fringe!
ReplyDeleteThey suit you both so well! (:
ReplyDeleteThe so-called lame mirror pictures are super cute, for real!
i've had the swoop bang for years and years. i finally went blunt and it took a few days, but i LOVE them now. and, my husband got used to them, too :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Paige's straight hair seems to be meant for bangs. You look like you have some wave to your hair. This is the best tutorial I've ever found to combat any bang cowlicks: http://thebeautydepartment.com/2012/01/blow-drying-heavy-bangs/
ReplyDeleteThanks, I will give that a try! Yes, actually the hairdresser said Paige and I have the same cowlick, but my hair just stinks, basically. In almost every way. It's not my best feature :o)
DeleteCowlick? I didn't know that in English but we say the same in Bulgarian :) Not underestimating all the photos, the first one is a piece of art!
ReplyDeleteYou girls look GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteGenevieve
haha! love the title and the bangs.
ReplyDeleteThey look cute! I love bangs in the winter!
ReplyDeleteYou and Paige were born to wear bangs! You both look adorbs. :-)
ReplyDeleteAack! They do look great, not letting my 7 yr old see this! She's been dying for bangs, but her daddy's the same way. She dropped it for a while, but just brought them back up two days ago! Hhmm. Maybe if I leave this page up he'll come home from work and see how cute Paige looks and we can go from there, lol!
ReplyDeletePaige is like born to have those bangs..it's looks adorable on you too..other thing is doing this as ''mother & daughter'' can define the word only ''awsome''!

wow, you both look great in bangs, you should keep them! so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe bangs look awesome on both of you gorgeous girls. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, and I always open your blog to see what interesting things you have to say or show.
Thank you. :)
You both look cute.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty on both counts! Love your title, too.
ReplyDeleteY'alls hair is adorable. Paige is growing up on your blog. She looks like a big kid now. Where does time go? My kids are growing by the minute too.

ReplyDeleteOh, love the bangs! I have bangs too, and I love them! Here's a tip: If your hair isn't looking great, throw it up in a ponytail (or a cute side braid), but just do your bangs. It saves a lot of time, and your hair will look great and put-together. It almost feels like cheating! :)
ReplyDeletecute on Paige and beautiful on you. i love bangs!
ReplyDeletesuper cute -- BOTH of you!! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the bangs! I got bangs done about 6 months or so ago. I was scared and thought they'd be horrible (like the past) but I love them! They're fun to play with. Change is fun if you make it fun :) Glad you had a friend to do it with you :)
ReplyDeleteBangs? Ah, a fringe in British English! What's not to love? I've had a fringe for almost 60 years. Thought about growing it out, but realised that I looked a dweeb without it.
ReplyDeleteBTW why is bangs plural?
Haha, yes! I love the british/american english differences. So fun! Like how a sweater is a "jumper" over there. Strangely, we refer to it as "a bang" or "bangs", so I guess it can be plural or singular. Usually plural, though. I believe it originates from the bang tail style on a horse, which is where they cut it off straight across. At least that's what Google tells me ;o)
