I love you.
I know you are a pathological liar.
I know you cheated on your husband.
I know you can't stop eating.
I know you think you're better than me.
I know you can't stick up for yourself.
I know you make excuses.
I know you are a victim.
I know you are living a lie.
I know you don't understand yourself.
I know you aren't generous.
I know you are tired.
I know you don't want to be alive.
I know you yell at your kids.
I know your parents didn't love you.
I know you keep coming back to drugs.
I know you steal.
I know you can't stop thinking about your abortion.
I know you hate everything.
I know you are apathetic toward God.
I know you look other men.
I know you hate your body.
I know you've lost your faith.
I know you're trying to be perfect.
I know you're prideful.
I know your heart is cold.
I know you were abused.
I know you're lazy.
I know you're not popular.
I know you can't find a job.
I know you are negative.
I know you neglect your family for work.
I know you criticize others.
I know you can't forgive.
I know you made a huge mistake.
I know you want to be loved.
I know you're just like me. But I still love you. :O)
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you. I love you, you beautiful thing. I love you so much.
Here's to your intrinsic value.
All I can say is "wowww"ReplyDelete
What a beautiful person you are dear Disney:) God bless you!ReplyDelete
Thank you, Madeleine. And you!!Delete
Oh Disney, I needed this. Feeling very unloved todayReplyDelete
I'm so sorry you're having one of those days, Krista. Hang in there. :O) I will say a little prayer for you!Delete
Disney, I am ever encouraged by your heart of encouragement!!! :) Your heart reflects Jesus' so well :)ReplyDelete
Sest compliment ever, Sarah. Thank you so much. :o)Delete
God bless you Disney. You are incredible and so bold for Jesus. Amen and amen.ReplyDelete
This reminded me of a quote I heard in a movie about Hosea last night- God's love is not dependent on us (what we do, etc). He just loves us. Thanks for sharing.ReplyDelete
Ditto to all of the above comments. You're wonderful. God bless.ReplyDelete
blessings to you and your dear heart!ReplyDelete
Somehow you knew. Thanks.ReplyDelete
The Lord knows. :O) My love is nothing compared to His!Delete
Thanks for sharing that. It really hits home. Of course now I'm feeling paranoid. How did you know all that about me? ;)ReplyDelete
Thank you, Disney, I needed this...ReplyDelete
You're so welcome, Julie. And just so you know, you have a special place in my heart. You are always here (or on FB!) to encourage me.Delete
Thanks Disney.......you are so beautiful and insightful. xxReplyDelete
This is a great reminder. I have been feeling SO down on myself lately, and I love this!ReplyDelete
Lindsay, I'm so sorry to hear that you've been down on yourself. Your faithful comments always life me up so much!Delete
What an encouragement! You know what's funny, I look at those nature shots and thank our Creator for their beauty… and He loves us more than those, thinks we're more beautiful than them, cares enough to send His Son to die for us… it is AMAZING, thanks for the reminder!ReplyDelete
That's exactly what made me think of it. I love nature so much, but it's nothing to a human soul! Sappy, I know, but truthful. :O)Delete
you are so welcome :O)Delete
YOU are beautiful. What an absolutely lovely post. This is all that matters, isn't it? Thanks for sharing it, and for sharing you on this blog. :)ReplyDelete
Thank you, Natalie. It wouldn't be worth it without you guys!Delete
I love you too!ReplyDelete
What a wonderful reminder of Jesus' love for us. Thank you for sharing. <3ReplyDelete
Wow, powerful, thank you! I'd like to share this with a group of women in Celebrate Recovery. It is for anyone who has or has had hurts, hang-ups or (bad) habits. You know: everybody. With the love of Christ, we can all overcome & be healed.ReplyDelete
I'd be honored if you did!Delete
Thank you ever so much! I truely hope you feel the love from us, your fans, too!ReplyDelete
I certainly do. Thank you so much!!Delete
Thank you so much, Disney. Just when I needed some encouragement, and was feeling frustrated at myself for being so imperfect, you bring a smile, a tear, and some absolute truth back to me.ReplyDelete
Haha, well anytime you want to feel less imperfect, come hang out with me. :o)Delete
I cried. I expected to hate this. But I didn't. Thank you.ReplyDelete
I'm so glad :O) You're welcomeDelete
You know what, Disney, we love you too. :)ReplyDelete
God's continued blessings on you and your family. Thank You!ReplyDelete
What a powerful post! It was a reminder to me to show Jesus' love through my love - to love regardless of fault - to show unconditional love to others.ReplyDelete
Thank you Disney. Very real and to the point. I am on that list. I am also on the hurt end of this list (recently) and sometimes wish I could shout it to the world. He does love us... more than we can comprehend. Thank you again, HeidiReplyDelete
Oh Disney. You are an inspiration. Love and hugs to you too!ReplyDelete
Disney, my dear, you are a gem. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And, I love you, too. (I am going to borrow this and repost it, linking back to you, of course.)ReplyDelete
I read it and I didn't like it. I read it again. Like being slapped. I read it again. I read the comments. I read it again. It actually made me feel...angry. Why, why, why? Then I realised...ReplyDelete
I am imperfect. It hit home. Those things on the screen were things in me, my life, my world. Things I hate about myself. Things I try to hide. Yet, I was being offered unconditional love. But I felt undeserving of that love, so I felt angry and confronted.
But we're all imperfect and we are all deserving of love, forgiveness, mercy. I deserve love. I deserve to love and be loved and I am truly blessed because I can say that I do have that in my life.
Thank you for the reminder.
You are so welcome. I didn't really intend to confront, but I can definitely relate. I feel angry when I am confronted, too. Working on that!! :o)Delete
You are amazing, Disney. Truly, truly@ I needed a little positive vibe today...thanks! :) YOU ARE AWESOME!ReplyDelete
And I love you, too Disney. Thank you :)ReplyDelete
So simple but so powerful! Thank you Disney:)ReplyDelete
Love you too.
Thank you. You are beautiful.ReplyDelete
