Happy Day 4/5: Explore!

Day 4 of "30 Days of Happiness" was a sick day in our house (poor Acer-baby has a bad flu) and by the end of it I had the choice to blog about it, or go to sleep. And since it was happy month, I went to sleep! :O)

Day 5 was explore day! Paige is so interested in nature right now, and whenever we get the chance to get out just the two of us, she wants to "go exploring". I love it, because I was the same way when I was a little girl. I thought a trail in the woods was the most intriguing and magical thing. In fact, I still do! There is this cute little nature spot that we drive by all of the time, and she always asks to go explore there, so we finally did. It was lovely! I love early spring when things are just starting to get green.

Can I be honest? I don't spend as much time with Paige as I should. Maybe that's a "duh" statement, a lot of parents struggle with that. But sometimes I get really selfish with how I spend my time. Especially now that I have two babies to take care of. So walking (running) around with her today and giggling and finding cat tails and magical little seashells in the lake and watching her laugh and smile and have so much fun made this one of the happiest days I've had in a while. I love this little girl. She makes me happy.

Have a happy day!
love,
Disney

  4. Aw, what a great way to spend a day with you little girl. I don't have children, but it's the same way when my nephew gets to come hang out with me. Kidlets are so much fun.
