Frosting!

We made cookies today!
I asked Paige what she wanted for breakfast this morning and she said homemade cookies. "Sure, Precious, whatever your heart desires." No, not really, we made biscuits and gravy. But THEN we made cookies! I always shudder at the thought of making cookies from scratch because it's like: "make the dough then cut it out? then cook it? then frost them???" *hand to forehead* But I'm glad I went for it. It was fun! The babies were napping by the time we got around to frosting, so it was some great one-on-one time with her.
(I love this concentration face) :o)
I couldn't stop looking at the mixed and scattered sprinkles as we were decorating. I want this to be my computer desktop, ya know?
They weren't professional, pin-worthy cookies. But we had fun decorating them. :o)
Paige ate a few...
Then we went to make deliveries to a few friends' houses. I let Paige do the dropping off by herself which made her feel very important, whilst I snapped photos of her like a spy with my iphone. Hehe.

I'll have to repeat this adventure when I can actually eat them! :O) I looove frosted cookies. Especially with cream cheese frosting. Mmmmm! :O) :O) :O)

Hope your week is starting off well! I leave you with this photo of baby "B", who has just discovered sitting in chairs. He climbs up there ten times a day and just sits and sits and sits. It's so precious! And I'm thrilled to have at least a few minutes of the day when he's not destroying something. :o)

Love,
Disney

  2. Disney, they are very pretty biscuits (as we call them in Australia). Paige had a great time cooking by the looks of it.

  3. Looks like such fun times with mom and daughter. So kind of you both to deliver with Paige actually taking cookies to the door. OMG, Paige's outfit is SO cute. And I like the apron, too.
