Ha. I kill me. I'm so glad you guys didn't think I'd gone bonkers (for long) with my april fools post! I confess that I giggled like a geek about it all day. I crack me up!!
So really though, the last couple of days have been pretty great! Not much to report, hanging out with friends, hanging out with cousins, wrapping sticks in rainbow yarn and playing Ninja Turtles in the backyard. Oh and feeling ready for summer for once with my first big girl manicure! (If you're in Moses Lake, hit up Ali at Eden Salon, fyi! She rocks!)
Purposely choosing happiness is hard, you guys. These last two weeks have been much more joyful, but we've still definitely had some moments around here when we (especially I) haven't really acted our age. :O) But do you know what I find myself doing a lot more of lately? Being grateful. Every night when I pull my white sheets and fluffy down comforter over myself I can't help but think of people who don't have beds. And tonight as I was uploading these photos my mouse batteries died and I couldn't believe how blessed I am to be able to walk over to the closet and pull out two more batteries-just like that. And there are tons of more AA's just waiting there on the shelf for next time. What luxury I'm surrounded by. I'm not sure what to do with it.

have a happy, happy day. I'm sorry if there are circumstances in your life that are trying to steal away your happiness, but hopefully you'll allow me to encourage you to find a shiny spot and hold on to it. And be grateful for it. :O)

You crack me up! Loved yesterday's post, loved the skateboard shelf post, love everything you do, sweet lady. I'm glad things are going better for you! I am determined April will be a good month in this house, and you give me such encouragement to be a cheerier mom. Thank you!

I was quickly paging through my blog feed yesterday and was like, "Wow. I usually love Disney's crafts but those pants are awful!" It wasn't until I saw this today that it finally clicked. HA. Glad you are focusing on fun and happiness :)
