"I am sure I have always thought of Christmas time, when it comes around-apart from the veneration due its sacred name and origin, if any thing belonging to it can be apart from that-as a good time: a kind, forgiving charitable, pleasant time: the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow-passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys."
-A Christmas Carol
by Charles Dickens
Merry Christmas, all of you. :o) Here's to freely opened hearts throughout the next year.

I love the part where it says, that we're all travelers together to the grave. Aren't we all going the same place eventually, and why shouldn't we open our hearts to one another to help each others' journeys be a little easier? Thanks for the Christmas thought! It's a deep one. Merry Christmas, Disney! I hope you and your family have a magical one! :)ReplyDelete
