Our Baby Birds!

A while ago, we noticed a sparrow's nest in our front door wreath with eggs in it, and a few days ago, they hatched!! We are so happy to have them. 🤗

I've wondered many times how this mama bird could possibly have thought that our busy, open-and-close front door would be a good place to keep her precious babies. But as I was posting these photos on Instagram, and quoting the verse about sparrows that I couldn't help but think of, I realized: maybe it was God's plan. Maybe he whispered in the ear of that bird to build her nest here, knowing that I would share his message about his love for us that can overcome our fear. A message that you in particular, perhaps, needed to hear.


"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Matthew 10:29-30
