American Girl (and Boy!)
Hehe. I got Ace a doll.
You guys! I cannot control myself. I LOVE American Girl. I love the dollies so much! And Paige loves them, too. We both giggle and squeal over each catalog like it's JK Rowling's newest piece of work. But today's post is about Ace. At first, when Ace saw our dolls, he was like:
The bitty twins are a set of two dolls that come in either boy/boy, girl/girl, or boy/girl, and you can choose between 5 skin/hair color combinations. They come with adorable outfits and a cute little book about learning to share, which is on point for my kids. ;o) We chose the brown haired boy and the sort of asian-looking girl for Ace and Paige. Ace was so excited when we showed him his new little buddy, and he and Paige have had so much fun playing with them.
And this is a little weird? But I really love having dolls that look like my kids. It's just kinda special.
I have to tell you something else. American Girl does not need publicity from Ruffles and Stuff. I mean let's be real. They're huge. So I think it was really nice of them to work with "the little guy". Not only that, they didn't make me jump through social media hoops, they didn't tell me how to phrase my post, they didn't even give me guidelines! They just said "sure!" and there was a box on my porch two days later. (Not that it's wrong for company's to give guidelines, I just personally feel like a post is so much more authentic when I can share it in a way that feels natural for me. Ya know?)
So, thanks American Girl. We super love you.
And hey! I love you, too. :o) :o)
This is so sweet. You have a perfect family Disney. Stay blessed. Paige is growing up fast, I am seeing her on the blog for years & today she look different :) So cute! I remember that Xmas video you've shared in which you & Paige were singing jingle bells song.. 5 years back I guess! time flies..ReplyDelete
So cute! Ace's face flipping the catalog is priceless! ;)ReplyDelete

One is sitting beneath my tree that looks like my 6-year-old. I love American Girl! Always wanted one as a kid... and now my daughter does too. My son wants two baby boys, so he says. ;)ReplyDelete
I love seeing Ace and Paige together! They both have gorgeous dimples- I'm a sucker for dimples :) Thanks for sharing your family with us.ReplyDelete
Those are so cute! I haven't liked the twins until this post, they look so much more cuddly and cute than I thought they were at first!ReplyDelete
❤️Disney!❤️ Your photos are so amazing! They really make the post. I really love the bottom one of Ace Face at the bottom... not really "getting it". Thanks for sharing!!ReplyDelete
Oh, that photo of Ace cradling his boy is the sweetest sweetest. Adorable.ReplyDelete

AKA the Story Girl
Cuteness! The new blog design looks great! Especially love the "choose life" under the title. :)ReplyDelete
I always enjoy reading your posts, Disney! Sure do miss you. Your children are so beautiful - with matching dimples!!!ReplyDelete
I love that set of three pictures at the top - you can feel how excited Ace was right through the screen! I never got an American Girl doll growing up for the same budget reasons, but you can bet that I will definitely get one for any daughter I have in the future. They are so special!ReplyDelete
ooo little guy-s!ReplyDelete
it is so adorable his happiness...
enjoy with your newbies :)
Beautiful photos! Reminds me of the excitement my brothers and sisters and I felt when we were little and received special toys at Christmas (not video games, yuck).ReplyDelete
YAY! Looks like Ace is having a great time. :) I still have my American Girl doll from about 20 years ago :) They are special!ReplyDelete
I love that you gave your little boy a doll! It will teach him such good skills for being a compassionate and gentle man. My brother had a doll growing up. He's now a Naval Academy graduate with two daughters of his own and he's a great dad.ReplyDelete
Oh my goodness, Disney! These photos! They are soooo precious! You're sweet, cute kids! Now I want a dollie, too! lol! I love that they have sibling dollies that reflect their adorable little selves. ~Amber in OregonReplyDelete
